Other AI CLIs (Gemini, GPT, Claude, opencode, Ollama) as a council — ban-safe, no API keys.

Install

claude mcp add cli-bridge-mcp -- uvx cli-bridge-mcp

Requires: CLI_BRIDGE_PROFILE, CLI_BRIDGE_TERSE, CLI_BRIDGE_CACHE_TTL_S

Our take

cli-bridge lets an MCP client delegate work to other local AI CLIs such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, opencode, and Ollama. The useful angle is that it avoids API keys and token extraction, but it only helps if those tools are already installed and logged in on the machine. It is young and low-adoption, yet the repo and PyPI package contain a real implementation rather than a scaffold.
