Our take

UI Design to Code is a workflow server for turning screenshots and Figma data into traceable design artifacts, target IR, validation, and visual-review records. It writes client config only through explicit install/configure commands, not a postinstall hook, but the Codex install path is fairly invasive with wrapper scripts and an update LaunchAgent. Best treated as a specialist design pipeline tool, not a one-shot screenshot-to-code model.
