Our take

The package has a self-propagating global-install path: its npm postinstall downloads a native Yaver agent, installs missing coding runners such as Claude Code/Codex/OpenCode, and registers Yaver into those MCP configs unless users know the opt-out environment variables. It also patches shell startup files and may install system packages when run as root. That is too much agent-surface and host mutation for install time, regardless of whether the underlying mobile-dev product is real.
