Our take

A constrained Home Assistant server that only handles lights and scenes, explicitly limiting scope for safety. It is for home automation users who want basic lighting control from MCP without exposing the rest of their Home Assistant environment. The narrow boundary is a sensible design choice, though it also means limited utility beyond lighting and the project still looks early by adoption metrics.
