Our take
Hex-ssh gives agents an SSH-oriented MCP server for remote command/file workflows, including config parsing and schema tests. It is a specialized piece of the same larger plugin suite as hex-line, not a standalone community project. Use it where remote access belongs in an MCP workflow, with the normal caution that SSH tools expand an agent's blast radius.
