Our take

Meridian Skills routes a task to generated skill candidates using GitHub Models and a local orbital classifier, returning ranked Markdown bodies and classification metadata. The old `meridian-skills-mcp` package still has a working self-contained stdio server, but npm now marks it deprecated in favor of `meridian-orbital`, and the repo README says the project was renamed to drop the skills framing. Use the newer package unless you specifically need the old registry name.
