Our take

A focused STEP/CAD inspection server with geometry queries, measurement, PMI hints, and revision comparison over an OCCT-backed implementation. It is brand new, but the tarball contains a substantial built server and bundled CAD kernel dependency rather than a placeholder. Good fit for mechanical-design review workflows; expect early-package rough edges.
