Our take

Cartographer indexes source code into a sqlite-vec-backed capability map so agents can search for reusable chunks, map dependencies, evaluate redundancy, and reindex controlled paths. The README is sparse and the defaults include a developer-local DB path, so expect some setup friction. The tarball does contain a real MCP implementation, not just a stub.
