Logic Pro MCP
Verified · yesterdayLocal MCP server for stateful, fail-closed Logic Pro control and live project readback.
Our take
Swift stdio server (macOS 14+) that gives agents structured control of Logic Pro — which has no first-party API — by routing 10 tools and 29 read resources/templates across seven native channels (MCU, Accessibility, AppleScript, CoreMIDI, CGEvent, Scripter, MIDI key commands), with an unusually honest contract: mutations return confirmed, uncertain, or failed rather than assuming success, and destructive operations fail closed without explicit confirmation. Very actively maintained (v3.8.0, pushed July 2026, ~2,000 tests plus live E2E against Logic Pro 12.3) but essentially a solo project, and only the latest Logic Pro release is first-class since Apple's Accessibility tree shifts between versions. MIT, Homebrew install with pinned SHA256. For Logic Pro users composing or mixing with Claude/Cursor; useless off macOS.
