Our take

A single-purpose formatter: one thin, honest wrapper around the sql-formatter npm library, exposing deterministic formatting across 19 dialects as an MCP tool. The whole server is ~90 lines with actual tests, which is exactly the right size for what it does — but understand you're installing a library shim, and an agent that can run npx could just call sql-formatter directly. From a prolific hobbyist monorepo (14 small MCP servers), not a maintained product.
