Our take

The package itself is a clean, thin Node bridge that delegates cryptographic audit-trail signing to the piqrypt Python library — no postinstall tricks, no phone-home. But the operator manufactured ecosystem presence: in a two-day burst they forked five awesome-list repos (awesome-mcp-servers, Awesome-AI-Agents, awesome-llm-agents, and more) plus NousResearch's hermes-agent, and committed self-promotional PiQrypt insertions directly to each fork's default branch, with zero pull requests submitted upstream. That is fake-endorsement distribution, and it is why this listing is flagged regardless of the code being functional.
