Our take

dbt-plan analyzes dbt file changes to predict the DDL they would produce before execution, without connecting to the warehouse. It is useful for analytics engineers and data platform teams reviewing migration impact, but the small footprint means adopters should validate dialect coverage and edge cases against their own dbt patterns.
