Our take

Stdio server from the packages/signet-mcp-tools folder of Prismer-AI's Signet monorepo, exposing its Ed25519 signing, verification, and content-hash primitives so agent tool calls get hash-chained, offline-verifiable receipts; a companion proxy package can wrap any MCP server to sign every tools/call without code changes. Unusually broad packaging for its size — Rust crate, PyPI, six npm packages, live browser demo — but it is effectively a one-contributor pre-1.0 project (v0.10) created March 2026 with no pushes since late May, 192 weekly npm downloads, and real value only if you build key management and an audit workflow around it. For compliance-minded teams prototyping tamper-evident agent audit trails; niche standalone appeal.
