Our take

Focuses on detecting and masking PII and secrets before data reaches an LLM, which is relevant for teams handling client or regulated data in agent workflows. The purpose is easy to understand and the npm downloads show some usage, but this is still a trust-sensitive utility where detection gaps or false confidence would matter, so careful validation is warranted.
