Afi MCP is a local-first MSP backup operations connector, not just a thin live API proxy: it ships a Go CLI/MCP server plus a local SQLite mirror for fleet-wide coverage, stale-backup, licensing, and offboarding questions. The Afi integration is unofficial, requires an Afi API key, and includes mutating tools, but the repo marks destructive operations separately and documents dry-run/human-approval operating patterns.
