Our take

Synlake is a thin open-source connector to a hosted cloud-infrastructure recommendation service: compare AWS/GCP/Azure options, estimate cost, validate execution kits, list providers, and check usage. It is honest about the split between the MIT connector and proprietary backend, and its hosted endpoint initializes without auth for the basic surface. The big caveat is trust: the repo is a very new 0-star wrapper around a private service that returns Terraform/CLI plans agents may later execute.
