Our take

remote-ssh-mcp provides persistent remote SSH sessions over MCP, letting an agent work against long-lived shell state instead of one-off commands. It is for operators, developers, and infrastructure teams that need agent access to existing remote machines. The use case is practical, but this is a high-trust tool by nature, so deployment quality and security review matter more than the currently minimal public adoption signals.
