Our take

OokCite checks citation identifiers such as DOIs and ISBNs and can format references across a large number of CSL styles. It is for research, publishing, or agent workflows where fabricated or malformed citations are a real failure mode. The scope is narrow but legitimate, and while ecosystem signals are still small, the function is concrete and easy to evaluate.
