Our take

Official WebdriverIO-org MCP server whose differentiator is scope: it automates Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari plus native iOS and Android apps through Appium, where most browser MCP servers stop at Chromium. MIT-licensed, one-line npx install with documented configs for VS Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop/Code, Cline, and Codex, and real adoption at ~2,500 npm downloads/week. It is young (created December 2025) and mobile automation still requires you to stand up Appium and simulators/devices yourself. For teams already on WebdriverIO, or anyone who needs agent-driven mobile app automation alongside the browser.
