Our take

A read-only, self-hosted email server for MCP that mirrors IMAP mail locally and indexes it with notmuch. It is for privacy-conscious users and technical operators who want searchable mail access without granting write permissions. The design is disciplined and cautious, but it is clearly a niche, self-hosted tool with limited visible adoption.
