Our take

A local macOS OCR and image-analysis server backed by Apple Vision, with tools for text extraction, faces, barcodes, document boundaries, classification, and full document analysis. The privacy story is strong because files stay local, but it is macOS-only and the underlying helper path downloads small prebuilt binaries on first run unless users opt out. The owner's two awesome-list forks were checked and were not self-insertion spam.
