Our take

PDF Reader MCP is a local PyPI server for text extraction, page rendering, metadata, outlines, links, annotations, tables, images, and text stats. It has a clear explanation for the PyPI name mismatch and includes tests. The limits are sensible, but it does not perform OCR for scanned PDFs.
