Our take

The audit found borrowed credibility: the registry entry links to the Agent Skills spec repository — 22,000 stars of someone else's work, containing no MCP server code — while the actual server is a third-party product riding that repo's reputation. Whatever the search tool itself does, a listing that points at code it didn't write is misrepresentation.
