Our take

A deliberately small community server that exposes one tool: web search through Perplexity's sonar/sonar-pro models, with an optional recency filter and citations in the response. The code is simple and honest about it. This is the Smithery-hosted flavor, so you need a Smithery key on top of your own Perplexity API key; if you'd rather skip the middle layer, the same author's repo runs fine locally.
