Our take

TypeScript rewrite (a GitHub fork) of cbcoutinho's better-known Python nextcloud-mcp-server, offering 30 tools across Nextcloud Notes, Calendar (CalDAV), Contacts (CardDAV), Tables, and WebDAV files, plus a unified WebDAV search that spans filenames, content, and metadata. It deploys via Smithery or the author's own hosted endpoint (mcp.techmavie.digital), where a server-side key service stands in for raw Nextcloud credentials — convenient, but you are trusting a solo maintainer's infrastructure with access to your instance, and the repo has had no pushes since March 2026. AGPL-3.0. For self-hosted Nextcloud users who prefer TypeScript/Smithery; the actively maintained Python original is the safer default.
