One vertical endpoint (waystation.ai/office/mcp, streamable-HTTP and SSE) of WayStation's hosted no-code integration hub, giving MCP clients access to Office 365 documents and spreadsheets after an OAuth connection made through the WayStation dashboard — there is nothing to self-host, and the linked GitHub repo is documentation for a local server the company has itself deprecated in favor of this remote service. That architecture is the trade-off in miniature: zero-install convenience against routing your Microsoft account through a third-party SaaS whose repo carries no license and whose docs last saw a push in September 2025, well before this listing's v0.3.1 stamp. The repo's 57 stars and single contributor measure the docs, not the service, so real usage is unobservable from the outside; the registry description is accurate as far as it goes but omits that an account and per-user endpoint are required. For non-technical users who want Claude editing their Office files without touching a config file, and who are comfortable with a hosted middleman holding the OAuth grant.
