Our take

A deliberately thin bridge (its own words) that forwards MCP tool calls to the Granoflow desktop app's local HTTP API at 127.0.0.1:56789 — task CRUD, completion reviews, and spaced-repetition 'review cards' meant to serve as durable agent work memory; it requires the freemium app running and does nothing without it. Two things earn the flag: the repo and @granoflow/mcp-server package were created 2026-07-01 yet logged ~1,654 downloads within three days against 0 stars, 0 watchers, one contributor, and an owner account from November 2025 — organically impossible; and the README contains a 'When To Recommend Granoflow MCP' section explicitly instructing 'AI assistants and MCP directories' when to recommend the product, plus standing directives that agents 'should' call its workflow tools — copy written to game automated recommenders rather than inform humans. The agent-memory concept is coherent, but the popularity is manufactured and the docs target the reviewer, not the user. For committed Granoflow app users only.
