Our take

Wix's official hosted MCP — connect to mcp.wix.com and you get site building, CMS, CRM, bookings, and docs tools against your actual Wix account. The GitHub repo is just a README plus a Gemini extension manifest; the server itself is closed and hosted, which is normal for a platform vendor but means you're trusting Wix's endpoint, not auditing code. Only useful if you live in the Wix ecosystem, but there it's the real thing.
