Our take

Local-first document search server with a web dashboard, REST API, and MCP tools for indexing, listing, searching, deleting, and summarizing a personal knowledge base. It is more complete than the average documentation-search MCP, though it pulls in embeddings and web-server dependencies and stores data locally under its own base directory. The published npm package is one patch ahead of the registry entry, so install behavior may be newer than the registry version suggests.
