Our take
Local codebase indexer and search server using SQLite, optional Qdrant vectors, and Ollama embeddings, with keyword, semantic, hybrid, symbol, regex, and context tools. It is more than a toy: the repo includes a docs site, benchmark fixtures, a CLI config installer, and many concrete tool implementations. The optional Code Agent can modify or delete files when enabled, so teams should leave CODE_AGENT_ENABLED off unless they want an agentic edit surface.
