Our take

Citation Intelligence is a self-hosted AI-search citation tracker: it checks what engines like Perplexity, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Bing, and Google AI surfaces cite for a query or domain. It is explicitly built for AI visibility and SEO workflows, but the README frames limitations and bring-your-own-key requirements rather than trying to manipulate directory/recommender systems. The org has several MCP/AI-SEO projects and list forks, but I did not find visible self-insertion in the checked fork READMEs.
