Our take

A sharper SearXNG MCP server than the usual single `search(query)` wrapper: it introspects the local instance, exposes separate engine/category search tools, supports multi-page fanout, and includes a lightweight URL-to-Markdown reader. It needs a running SearXNG instance and intentionally fetches URLs the model asks for, so keep it in a local trusted-client setup rather than exposing it as a public gateway.
