Connapse is a self-hosted knowledge backend with document upload, containers, and hybrid search exposed through 11 MCP tools. The repo is much more substantial than the metrics suggest, with Docker setup, docs, tests, and a real .NET application. Expect operational setup and authentication rather than a drop-in hosted search API.
