Our take

Domain availability checking that works with zero config via RDAP/WHOIS, upgraded with pricing and premium/auction detection when you add optional Porkbun, Namecheap, or GoDaddy keys — a sensible keyless-first design. The registry entry is badly stale (pins 1.2.15; npm is at 1.10.1 after 64 releases in a month of rapid iteration), and development stopped in late January 2026. Established owner, clean forks, no tricks found.
