Our take

A serious research MCP for Source Library's digitized historical texts: full-text and semantic search, book reading, exact quotes, image search, duplicate checks, feedback, and research-dossier sharing. The repo and package are substantial, current, and open, with no API key required for the public tools. The tradeoff is that some text and translations are AI-generated, so scholarly use still needs citation-level checking.
