Our take

Free Google search via Playwright and a warm persistent Chrome profile — no API key, no proxies, no CAPTCHA-solver service — plus URL fetching and inline academic-PDF extraction rolled into one server. The human-in-the-loop CAPTCHA recovery is honest engineering: when Google challenges, a browser window opens for you to solve it. Fast and token-conscious in practice, but it's SERP scraping on your own IP, designed for a local workstation, and the project is only a few months old.
