Our take
An MCP server and CLI for the Bear notes app that talks to CloudKit directly, giving agents full-text search, note creation and editing, tags, and attachments. Its most interesting idea is the context library: tag notes with #context and they sync into a curated, index-first folder modeled on Karpathy's LLM knowledge-base pattern, so Claude loads only what it needs. It is inherently niche — Bear and an iCloud login are prerequisites, authentication runs through the bcli binary, and it is a small project from a single shop. For Bear users on Claude, though, it is unusually well thought out.
