Our take

This Obsidian server connects MCP clients to the Obsidian Local REST API for reading, searching, and interacting with vault notes, with stdio, HTTP, and container packaging options. It has mature tests and transport code for a small project, but it does require running and securing the local REST plugin. The npm registry is one patch ahead of the registry listing, which is a staleness caveat rather than a duplicate or misrepresentation.
