macOS Calendar and Reminders
Verified · yesterdaymacOS Calendar and Reminders MCP server (29 tools). Native Swift EventKit, iCloud/Google/Exchange.
Our take
Native Swift MCP server built directly on EventKit that gives an agent local control of macOS Calendar and Reminders — 29 tools spanning event and reminder CRUD, recurring events, batch operations, conflict and duplicate detection, multi-keyword search, reminder #tags, and undo/redo — and it works with any EventKit-backed account (iCloud, Google, Exchange). Distribution is unusually polished for a project this size: Developer-ID-signed and notarized binary, Claude Desktop .mcpb, and a Claude Code plugin bundling slash commands plus a PreToolUse day-of-week verification hook. Actively maintained (pushed this week) but young (January 2026) and driven by essentially one developer; macOS 14+ only, stdio-only, and requires granting TCC Calendar and Reminders permissions. For Mac users who want an assistant managing their real calendar and task lists locally instead of through a cloud API.
