Our take

Hosted full-text retrieval for papers, books, patents, Wikipedia, and social/video sources, with structured results that preserve canonical source URIs for citations. The implementation is more serious than a thin search wrapper: OAuth metadata is live, the repo exposes typed tools/resources, and the tools are read-only. It is paid per request and limited to the vendor corpus, so it is a research retrieval server, not general web search.
